New partnership unites premier racing series with America’s largest and longest-running off-road series

INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Family Events, a division of Bonnier Corporation, is joining forces in 2018 and 2019 with the Terracross Championship—a rough, tough and muddy UTV competition featuring extreme action and celebrity athletes. The multi-year agreement places the Terracross Championship as a new main attraction during the 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals, a series of off-road events produced by Family Events for more than 30 years and enjoyed annually by more than 150,000 enthusiasts.

CBS Sports Network will continue to televise the Terracross, providing sponsors and other stakeholders a stable and far-reaching platform for marketing to the dynamic demographics of the Terracross and off-road lifestyle.

According to Joe Duncan, Terracross Championship founder, the new partnership capitalizes on some of the two businesses’ core strengths: Terracross’ high-profile entertainment platform with CBS Sports Network’s coverage, and Family Events’ well-established events with guaranteed large-scale enthusiast engagement.

“Terracross Entertainment Television is excited for the future with Family Events,” Duncan said. “Terracross has long been on the cutting edge of the entertainment powersports industry, with our unique way of running races with affordable, equally competitive machines. Creating an aligned customer base with Family Events is the perfect fit for our business model, and we are determined to bring a new level of this lifestyle action entertainment to the masses to promote future growth.”

“During more than 30 years of producing the 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals Series, we have constantly evolved the events to keep them exciting and relevant to the off-road lifestyle of our enthusiasts,” said Mike Moore, president of Family Events. “With UTVs (side-by-sides) now the fastest-growing mass-produced powersport vehicles in the world, the Terracross Championship brings fresh, in-demand elements to our Jamboree weekends for our attendees and greatly expands sponsorship opportunities for our partners. We are proud to offer this world-class experience at our events.”

Some of the athletes and celebrities who have taken part in Terracross races include Brian Deegan, Jeremy McGrath, Jason Ellis, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, RJ Anderson, Hailie Deegan, Jolene Van Vugt, Jason Luburgh, Sara Price, Hubert Rowland, and Jim Beaver.
