Our national enduro correspondent Darrin Chapman killed it over the weekend with this photo recap of the season-ending race in Stanton, Alabama where Steward Baylor Jr. capped a Pro Championship after a knock down, drag out battle with rival Thad DuVall.

Steward Baylor dialed up his focus late in the season, improving his early test scores and winning overalls when the pressure was on.

Thad DuVall chased Baylor all season and was actually in command of the series before getting injured at the ISDE in France.

Baylor and DuVall are polar opposites in their approach but hold a strong mutual respect for the other’s skills and determination.

Thorn Devlin made it a perfect season, sweeping every round in the AA/Expert class.

Evan Smith came on strong during the final several round and claimed his first Pro podium in Alabama.

The outgoing champ, Russell Bobbitt, finished fourth to secure that same position for the year over Cory Buttrick.

Cory Buttrick was consistently around the top five all season, including Alabama, where a fifth gave him the five spot overall.
