Kody Kamm, fresh off his Bronze medal Snow BikeCross performane at the Winter X Games, made a last minute decision to enter the ERX Eliminator and walked away undefeated and $10,000 richer.

Kamm had not been on his Pirtek Polaris snocross racer since round eight in Deadwood, South Dakota nearly three weeks ago. That didn’t prevent him from putting down the fastest lap in timed seeding and running away with the main event. Kamm was not completely unchallenged, however, as more than one of his head-to-head races, as well as many others throughout the night, featured plenty of block passes and bar-banging with $20,000 in total on the line.

Lincoln Lemieux came through the consolation round to race back into the final against Kamm, finishing second overall. Kamm’s teammate Petter Narsa won several of his early rounds before being losing to Kamm and then being eliminated by Lemieux, garnering the third place step on the podium.

Lincoln Lemieux was bounced from the winner’s bracket by Petter Narsa but got his revenge in the consolation final to get his shot at Kamm.

An ERX showcase-style event has been the talk of the snocross tour for the past few years when it became clear the Winter X Games were no longer snocross friendly. This year’s race came together somewhat late, but was a nice gap-stop to the three open weekends in the AMSOIL Championship Snocross series.

The Eliminator track was one of the biggest and most well laid out we’ve seen. There was big air, high-speeds and optional corner lines. A mammoth effort was put forth to make this a premier event and while not every top pro racer chose to participate, most in attendance left impressed with the show.

Andrew Lindholm has been a quick starter all season and made the most of the short race format, winning a qualifying heat race and staying alive for several rounds of head-to-head racing.

Narsa was going big all night but landed just short of a rematch with teammate Kamm.
As with all things ERX, entry-level classes were also a part of the show with 120s and 200s battling their way to the night show.
First round qualifying heats were short and intense.
