Minneapolis, Minn. (November 6, 2020) ~ After a successful inaugural season that featured historic tracks and championship chases that came down to the final weekend, Championship Off-Road officials have an eye on the future and are pleased to announce the 2021 schedule.

The series is looking to build upon its first season, and while the new schedule will look familiar, officials are pleased to announce the return of short-course, off-road racing to Antigo, Wis.  The renowned event makes its triumphant return after a more than fifteen-year hiatus and will now open up the 2021 season on June 5-6.

“Championship Off-Road was able to accomplish a lot of its goals in 2020, despite being a new series in an unprecedented year,” said Championship Off-Road president Carl Schubitzke. “We were able to do that in large part because of the stability of the tracks, and because of that stability, we now have an opportunity to find new ways to grow the series and Antigo will help us do just that.”

The new season will continue with the annual Brush Run at Crandon International Raceway on June 26-27. After hosting multiple events in 2020 due to the on-going Covid-19 Pandemic, ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minn., returns to one, two-day race on July 9-10.

For the past few years, the Dirt City Motorplex was a hit amongst the sportsman racers and earned its stripes in 2020 by adding the pro truck classes. The mid-point of the 2021 schedule will head to the Lena, Wis. venue July 31-August 1st. Bark River International Raceway was forced to cancel its annual event at the Upper Michigan venue, but organizers are committed to hosting the 45th annual event August 14-15. The season ends in historical fashion with Fall Crandon on Labor Day Weekend.
