Elias Ishoel reasserted himself as the odds-on favorite with another weekend sweep in New York. However, Hunter Patenaude showed once again that he’s not far off the Champ’s pace, when he can string together a full day without a dnf.

Similar to last season, Kyle Pallin is on track to have one of his best years ever, while rookie teammate Adam Peterson continues to impress. Emil Harr stays in the running at the top of the mid-fielders, although he may be the most invisible rider on the track.

A healthy(er) Francis Pelletier could be back on the box soon and Jacob Yurk, along with his All Finish teammate Dan Benham are making big one day strides but still lack night to night consistency.

The Hentges squad of Kody Kamm and Oskar Norum have dropped a bit in recent weeks but the reality is positions three thru 11-12 are so tight it doesn’t take much to skew the rankings one way or the other.

Not to be overlooked is Logan Christian who has been crushing it in his heats but appears to struggle somewhat with the yips at the start of the big show.
