Vermont’s Adam Ashline crushed it over the weekend going 1-1 and jumping into a tie for the lead in the Sport division. Kenny Mandryk picked up a win at round five and is back on the charge earning runner-up honors in this week’s pole.
Evan Christian has used strong heat race performance to pad his point total, and fortunately, since we place a much higher premium on main events, Christian has been consistently in the top five in recent weeks and is just one point out of the top spot in the series and a close third in our pole..
Series co-leader Kyle Kunstman has been in a bit of a qualifying slump but a second in Fargo helped. Gramps will have to stay on his game in the second half to keep young guns Legendre, Tibbetts, Freeland and Downs off his heels.
