Sixteen of the best side-by-side drivers to race for $22,000 purse.

International Series of Champions, the sanctioning body behind Pro Snocross racing is branching into Pro UTV racing under the brand Championship UTV, and will host their first event at the upcoming Hay Days powersports expo.

For more than five decades, Hay Days has been a staple in the snowmobile community. Over two days in September, the event has historically attracted upwards of 50,000 snowmobile and powersports enthusiasts. The event features the latest-and-greatest that the snowmobile industry has to offer, world-class grass drags, as well as being one of the largest snowmobile-centric swap meets in the world.

This year, snowmobiles will mix with the growing UTV racing segment as the same group that manages the AMSOIL Championship Snocross, Powered by RAM tour will unveil Championship UTV.

The exhibition event will feature sixteen invited drivers, who will race head-to-head under a double-elimination format similar to the popular AMSOIL Dominator race that is held in Duluth, Minn. as part of the ACS season opener.

“The Dominator format has been a great success for us in snocross,” said ISOC President Carl Schubitzke. “We have great opportunity to build another version of that, in a completely different sport, and in front of an unbelievable crowd at Hay Days.”

A majority of the sixteen-invited drivers have already confirmed and will be announced in week leading up to the September 7-8 event. Racing is scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, and will feature more than 60 races and will crown a new champion each day. The first battle begins at 9 a.m.
