New Rules To Benefit Amateur Racers

The International Series of Champions has opened rider registration for the upcoming national and regional snocross series. Riders may begin signing up immediately at this link: MEMBERS

The groups has also announced a number of revision to the rulebook, including an adjustment to Pro heat race points and the addition of an Amateur Snow Bike class. Saturday’s second round of Pro practice will also be eliminated to provide more track time for Amateur racers.

  • All Race Registration (Nationals & Regionals) Will Be Closed at 9 PM the Day Before the Race Event Begins. Anyone Not Registered Beforehand Will Not Be Allowed To Race. We Are Enforcing It This Year – so PLEASE Register Early (we will always give refunds so please don’t be afraid to signup). 
  • 2019-2020 Rulebook Can Be Found Here: Rulebook
  • Some Changes For This Season:
    •  Number Plate Color Change- Any Race Classes That Previously Ran the Blue Number Plate will now need to have a White Background with Black Text. Please see page 21 of the rulebook  for details.
  •  Pro, Pro-Lite, Pro Women, Pro-Am +30, & Snowbike National Classes– please submit your sponsor information &  headshot to be included in the Event Program.  Deadline is on October 25th, 2019. Please note that the information that you list will be printed for the entire season and if you miss the deadline unfortunately, we will not be able to add you later.   • Hard Cards will be distributed at Racer Check-In at the very first National or Regional you attend (no mailed cards this year).
  • Event Day Schedule – this will be available next week.
  • There will be no throw out races at the National or Regional series.
  • Michigan National Event Location – we are waiting on final approval from the city before we release the location. 
  • Pro Class now has less points for a win in the heat races.
  • On Saturday, we eliminated the second Pro Practice at the National Level. We Will be Giving that Time to the Amateur Classes. A Goal This Year is to Give You More Track Time When We Can.
  • We will be adding an amateur Snow Bike class on Friday of every national. They will be only racing on Friday because of time constraints on Saturday.
  • Per ISR Requirements – All Snowbike Racers will need to follow the same Snocross clothing and gear rules. We will follow up with more details at a later date.
