Michigan Sno-X ‘s race season opener was held this past weekend at the Northern Power Race Park in Mancelona, Michigna. NPRP will serve as the official location for all the Michigan series dates this season.

Saturday was a bit challenging with the high winds and rain that eventually turned to snow for most of the day. The Michigan racers braved the elements and put in their heat races and ran the finals under the lights to complete round one of the young season.

Sunday’s round two was another complete program and what a difference a day made. Riders and their crews arrived at the track with the sun shining down, the winds were calm and temps were great for some Michigan Snocross action. With rounds 1&2 in the books the series takes some time off for the holidays and will return to action in January.

Tyler Ooman was back on a sled racing for the first time since he suffered a terrible accident at the 2021 National series.
