There has been a lot of off season uncertainty regarding the future of snocross in the Northeast, an area that has long been regarded as a fundamental part of the sport. News, of any sort, was slow in coming from East Coast Snocross, the sanction who has carried the torch for the region for several season.

As it turns out, ECS ownership had been seeking to sell the series and with no takers, had the sport and it’s participants in limbo. Fortunately, a group, with strong ties to snocross racing in the region, stepped up to form the Eastern Snocross Tour and keep the sport alive in 2020. Here is the message that is currently on the ESXT website:

We are making snocross on the east coast happen for the 2019/2020 season!

Bruce Gaspardi Sr. has been racing snocross since the first ever snocross race which was held here in the northeast back in 1992-93, so after learning that there was not going to be a snocross series in 2020 Bruce reached out to Shawn Longbook to help him start the Eastern Snocross Tour. For the past 6 weeks Bruce and Shawn have been working around the clock to get this new series up and running. We know and understand how anxious everyone is to see what we have lined up so far for the 2020 season, we will do our best to keep you updated regularly. So in the meantime get those sleds ready to go racing!!!

Thank you in advance for your patience, and stay tuned for updates!
