AMSOIL Dominator And Awards Banquet To Make Return
The 2023 AMSOIL Championship Snocross schedule has been released and a number of big changes can be found throughout the season.
The AMSOIL Dominator will return in it’s original form as a head-to-head competition when the series kicks off with a three day opener in West Fargo, North Dakota on December 16-18. Going back to a December start is something most of the teams supported after weather related postponements pushed the 2022 campaign into the last week of March. Unfortunately, with only one event scheduled for all of February, Salamanca, NY, the season will run even longer this year, wrapping up back at the Sundown Mountain Resort in Dubuque, Iowa on April 1-2.
New to the schedule is Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota. The Sioux Falls community came out in full force to support an event in 2021 and the Huset’s facility in neighboring Brandon will only add to the appeal.
Gone is the traditional stop in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. One of the more unique and long-standing venues in ISOC’s history, it is rumored that the Grand Geneva Resort had become less amicable to the event in recents years.
One other notable change has Snow Bike racing being pared back to a triple crown series that will take place in Shakopee, Elk River and Dubuque.
