And just like that the AMSOIL Championship Snocross series in one-quarter of the way through the 2021 season. We knew the field would be deep this year and after the first two weekends a couple of things are starting to be clear.

First, Elias Ishoel is still every bit the force that has made him the two-time defending champ. Second, Lincoln Lemieux and Oskar Norum have set themselves apart from the mid-fielders and don’t intend to let Ishoel get away without a fight. And third, positions four through 10 are a complete toss up and could be turned on their heads on any given weekend.

  1. Elias Ishoel – Doo (+1)
  2. Lincoln Lemieux – Doo (-1)
  3. Oskar Norum – Pol (+2)
  4. Francis Pelletier – Doo (+7)
  5. Kyle Pallin – Pol (+4)
  6. Kody Kamm – Pol (+2)
  7. Jake Yurk – Cat (-3)
  8. Hunter Patenaude – Doo (-7)
  9. Dan Benham – Doo
    Logan Christian – Cat (-2)
Lincoln Lemieux is playing the long game, stacking heat race wins and keeping his nose near the podium.
Francis Pelletier was one blown belt away from a pair of top fives in Iowa and is the biggest mover and shaker this week.
KP picked it up a notch in Iowa, landing on the box Saturday.
Cole Cottew didn’t make the cut but deserves a shout out for his raw speed and ability to go forward in a final. With a bit of luck he could crack the top 10 soon.
