The first day at the Nisswa 100 had two races with final finishes.  Both the Pro Open and the Semi Pro Improved ran the 54 mile course two times and had final finishes.  The other classes ran one lap today and will have their two-day finals tomorrow.  

Zac Herfindahl finished first with a total time of one hour and 51 minutes.  Second was Justin Tate coming one minute and 59 seconds behind Zac.  Two Minutes 34 seconds out of the lead was David Brown in third place.  After the race Zac said “The course was rough, soft, and twisty.  It was a really good track.  I enjoyed it!”

Former Snocross racer, Matt LaMaurea took the top podium spot in the Semi Pro Improved class with a time of one hour and 57 minutes.  Evan Pepple was second and third place went to Boe Bunke.
